"Protectoinism: a Phenomenon of Double Standards" - RBCC Bulletin.
The world financial crisis which started in September 2008 has affected the economies of every country in the world and, as a result, many governments have started to develop a series of measures aimed at stabilizing their national economies and internal markets. Several of these measures, accompanied by new legislation acts as well as amendments to current legislation, are leading to protectionist politics. The present situation with protectionism is rather complex. Many politicians criticize protectionism, but at the same time such measures are already part of current practice in many countries. Analysis of the results of the recent G20 summit in London and the internal protectionism politics of several of the countries who took part in the summit, brought to light the double standards surrounding this issue. <...>
